Anti-Clockwise is a punk rock band from Lisbon Portugal. I first heard about them from Free Albums Galore, got the album, and was blown away. I can’t really put my finger on who they sound like. They’re definitely punk rock, with a slight Psychobilly fuzzed up guitar sound. On Free Albums Galore they say they remind them of X or Black Flag. That’s pretty close. Anyway, it really doesn’t matter who they sound like. The investment for you is zero since they’re giving away their new album. Go get it and get ready for some awesome, fast, bone crunching, punk rock!!!

If you’re stumbling across this page for the first time you’re probably wondering what is Atomsplit all about. Well, Atomsplit is a cartoon, comic strip, game, and general multimedia story about an indie rock band who comes into contact with and old school rocker named Bobby Vandertramp who trains the young indie rockers to create and control the Divine Sound, a sound so strong and powerful it can do anything. However, there are some folks who don’t want Atomsplit to have access to such a powerful sound, namely, the recording corporation and they’re representative Mr. Peevil. It’s up to Atomsplit to perfect the Divine Sound and share it with the world while at the same time staying one step ahead of the music companies and Mr. Peevil.

On Tuesday I remembered that TNA was coming on on Monday so I thought I missed the new TNA with the Hulkster in charge, but they were playing it on Thursday so I got lucky! If you were ever a fan of Nitro back in the late Nineties then this TNA was for you. Not only was Hulk Hogan there, but he also brought Scott Hall, Sean (X-Pac, 123 Kid, Syxx), Waltman, The Nasty Boys, Val Venus, Ric Flair, Bubba The Love Sponge, Orlando Jordan, Jeff Hardy!!!, and Eric Bischoff. I’m probably forgetting someone, but the point is it was super awesome seeing all the old faces again. This episode was three hours long. I hope that’s their new format too because as much as I like seeing all the old faces like Hardy and hall and I want to see them I the ring I also want to see Daniels, The Motor City Machineguns, Samoa Joe, and people like that in the ring too so with three hours Ihope they can equalize it and mix it up too with the old guys wrestling the new guys.

What’s a Tiertafel? It’s something that I heard about on this podcast I listen to called Inside Europe. It’s a German word meaning animal table or animal dining table. What’s an animal table? It’s a soup kitchen for pets. When a man or a woman or even a family is down on their luck and needs some noms they go to a human soup kitchen and get some, but what about their pets? That’s where the Tiertafel comes in. They can take their pets to the Tiertafel to get some pet noms and then when they’re back on their feet they can bring some pet food back to the Tiertafel. So far I think this is only a German thing, but it’s awesome and I hope it goes global.

I’m not sure how Atomsplit friended Ditzra. I can’t remember if I friended him or if D.Sazster friended him or if he friended us. Well, however it happened I’m glad it did. Ditzra is a rapper from France. If that seems strange to you I was in that boat the first time I heard of French rap too,but over the years I’ve collected some of it like DJ Cam, Alliance Ethnik,and One Shot among others. I even subscribed to the now defunct Yo La La French rap podcast. Ditzra is a mix of modern discotheque beats, dancehall, and reggaeton. If that sounds like a good mix of sounds to you then go check out Ditzra because you’ll definitely like his sound. I did. My favorite songs on his Myspace page were are Sin Fronteras and Nou OP.
